The Company
Ghani Chemical Industries Limited. was incorporated as a private limited company on November 23, 2015, under the repealed Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now the Companies Act, 2017), and was converted into a public limited company on April 20, 2017.
Under the Scheme of Arrangement for the merger/amalgamation of G3 Technologies Limited. with and into Ghani Chemical Industries Limited., sanctioned by the Lahore High Court vide Order dated October 11, 2022, Pakistan Stock Exchange listed Ghani Chemical Industries Limited., w.e.f. November 14, 2022.
The Registered Office of the Company is located at 10-N Model Town Extension, Lahore, whereas production facilities are situated at Phool Nagar, District Kasur and Industrial Zone, Port Qasim, Karachi. The Company also has a liaison office in Sangjani, District Rawalpindi. The Company is principally engaged in the manufacturing, sale, and trading of medical & industrial gases and chemicals.
The company's authorized capital is Rs. 5.500 billion, while the paid-up capital of the Company as on June 30, 2022, is Rs. 3.597 billion.
Ghani Chemicals Industries Limited. has installed 140 storage tanks at its customers of various sizes ranging from 5,000 Ltrs to 25,000 Ltrs. The total storage capacity of these tanks is 1,265,000 Ltrs. The Company has storage tanks of capacities from 5,000 Ltrs to 33,000 Ltrs, to transport the liquid gases from its Plants to Customer premises all over Pakistan. The Company has set up Air Separation Unit Plant at Port Qasim, Karachi for the exclusive supply of Liquid Oxygen and Liquid Nitrogen (the products) to Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited., for 15 years. Furthermore, keeping fast increasing demand for Medical Oxygen in KP and Northern Areas due to COVID and to cater to the growing demand of Industries, development projects, and CPEC, the Company has also commenced the construction work for the setup of its 5th Air Separation Unit Plant for 275 MTPD capacity for medical and industrial gases at Hattar Economic Zone, District Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Company also has an expansion plan for setting up two state-of-the-art chemical plants for the manufacturing of Citric Acid (import substitute) and Sulphur Acid in Allama Iqbal Industrial City, Faisalabad.
